Men’s Discipleship
Each fall & spring semester, we gather for Men’s Study or discipleship groups.
Onward Men's Study is a time to explore faith and God's Word for the first time, the first time in a long time or deepen a personal relationship that has lasted years. We will incorporate teaching and table discussion as a way to unpack God's truth.
This semester, Onward Men's Study will be going through the BetterMan Core curriculum. This study focuses on being God’s man. BetterMan's tagline is ‘Biblically rich, theologically sound, and incredibly practical content—we know that having a clear vision of manhood changes everything.’ Our prayer for Onward Men is that this study would create great conversations, based in God’s Word, on marriage, family, job, and life.
Even if you've gone through the study before, I invite you to join us again and see how God can make you a better man.
Men’s Leadership Training
2 Timothy 2:2 says we should “entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also”. With that as our aim, we want to make you aware of our new initiative “Men’s Leadership Training” hosted by our lead pastor Connor. This will be an investment into the leadership of those who are invested at Onward. Note: It is leadership training so it comes with a high bar and therefore not for everyone. But any man at Onward who is OR wants to be a part of leading this church is invited to apply

Each semester we prayerfully consider what would serve the men of Onward best! Past studies have included BetterMan curriculum, 2 Peter, and Revelation.

Each Thursday early morning includes coffee, a short teaching, and table discussion! Our goal is for your to be encouraged out of God’s Word & connect with other men at Onward.

Generally each fall, around the start of the school year, we’ve hosted a fun men’s event (past years included a meat smoking competition and cornhole tournament). We are seeking to continue adding strategic events as our planning team grows. If you are interested in helping, let us know!
