When You Arrive

Onward Kids offers classrooms for children birth through fifth grade at the 9:00 and 11:00 AM services. We suggest arriving 15 minutes early to allow time for you to register your kids and help them get settled into their classrooms. When you arrive, you will see signage and friendly volunteers who can direct you to the Onward Kids welcome desk where you will register your kid and our team will help guide you to their classroom. Taught about Jesus

Preschool

Infants - Preschool

A safe, fun environment where children (newborn to preschool) build a solid foundation of faith through activities, music, and reading the Bible. While attending Onward Preschool, kids will participate in classroom settings where they will learn memory verses, read the Bible, have a snack, and do activities and games that reinforce the teaching truth they are learning through that week’s lesson.

Onward Elementary is where Kindergarten-5th graders learn more about who God is, His character, and His rescue plan for the world. While attending Onward Elementary, kids will participate in a large group environment designed to model corporate worship, prayer, and teaching. After large group teaching, the kids will go to small groups with same-age peers, where they will use activities and discussion questions to reinforce the lesson. They will learn about a biblical character trait each month that has a corresponding definition and memory verse. Each week they will go over a different bible passage that illustrates that character trait.

Safe and Secure

The safety and security of your kids is very important to us. Staff and volunteers must pass background and reference checks, complete child abuse awareness training, and be a known individual within our church body. No adults is allowed to work alone in any setting with a minor. We utilize volunteer and professional security personnel, as well as security cameras throughout our kid’s areas.
