The Why: Rather than asking everyone to gather on campus, we’re creating space for our church family to live on mission together. That Sunday, we won’t be meeting at 4659 Coit Rd. for our regular services. Instead, we’re inviting you to use that time to intentionally engage neighbors, friends, and those who may be unchurched or far from Jesus. We’ll then gather afterward for an All-Family Huddle to reconnect, share stories, and encourage one another as we continue living out the mission together.
The How: This is primarily about engaging the neighbors God has already placed around us—but you don’t have to do it on your own. Feel free to team up with your community group, another family, or church members who live nearby. Keep it simple and relational.
A few ideas:
Host pancakes or coffee at your neighborhood pavilion
Invite a neighbor or family over for breakfast
Head to a nearby park and be present with whoever’s there
Take a walk, linger outside, and start a conversation
Do something you already enjoy—just invite others into it
There’s no pressure to make it a “thing.” Just show up, be yourself, and trust God to work through small, ordinary moments.
