Rejecting God By Replacing Him With Righteous Things

Connor Baxter starts our new sermon series "King of Kings" in 1st Samuel on rejecting God. Our rebellion against God happens when we transfer our trust from God himself to the things he has given us. Rebellion can come through ministries, keeping his commands or being disciplined. Just the appearance of godliness is not effective. Connor leaves us with the question, 'Am I looking to the things of God, rather than God himself?'
